Cover begins when the insured person departs Bangladesh and ends on return, or on the expiry of the policy period, whichever is earlier. Pre-existing medical conditions, injuries from adventure sports and losses caused by intoxication are excluded unless a rider is purchased. Claims must be notified to the 24-hour assistance line within 48 hours of the incident, with original bills and reports submitted within 30 days of returning.
Travellers aged over 70 are subject to a loading and may require a medical declaration. The policy is issued by the underwriting company; Voyagio Travels acts as an authorised distributor.
